Using an integrated approach to wellness is not only part of my profession, but also my life. When, my struggle with infertility was unsuccessful with conventional approaches, it was the integration of acupuncture that led to success. Traditional Chinese Medicine, with its focus on treating the root of the ailment, became my gauge for wellness.
I earned a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, in Houston, Texas. My degree entailed four years of study, and 3700 hours of formal education. I am also a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (which includes and acupuncture and Chinese herbs) from the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Additionally, I am credentialed by the Texas Medical Board as a Licensed Acupuncturist. I have enjoyed further study by completing continuing education in the areas of cosmetic acupuncture, weight loss, and fertility. I have a personal interest in helping couples with fertility challenges, and women’s health concerns, sleep issues, and stress management. I have been in private practice, since 2013.
